Spice Agency (“we,” “us”) is a website design studio based in San Diego, California. This policy explains what information this website collects, how we use it and the choices you have. If you have questions, email us at [email protected].

What we collect

When you fill out our free preview questionnaire, we collect the information you choose to give us:

• Your name and email address, and your phone number if you add it.
• Your business name, type of business, town or city, areas you serve and main services.
• Whether you have a Google Business Profile, a website or a logo, and any links you share to them or to your social pages.
• Your style preferences, the plan you’re interested in and any notes you add.
• Whether you agreed to receive text messages about your request (optional).

Public information about your business. If you give us permission in the questionnaire, we look at your Google Business Profile, website and social pages and use the photos, videos and business details on them to design your preview.

Technical information. Like any website, our hosting provider receives basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request. It uses this to deliver the site and protect it from attacks. When you send the questionnaire, Cloudflare Turnstile runs a quick check to confirm you’re a person and not a bot.

We do not use analytics, advertising pixels, chat widgets or any other tracking tools on this website.

How we use your information

• To design your free website preview and send it to you.
• To reply to your request and talk with you about our services.
• To text you about your request, only if you checked the text message box.
• To keep this website secure and working properly.

We don’t send you marketing emails or texts unless you ask us to.

Who receives your information

Your questionnaire answers go only to the Spice Agency team. We use a few service providers to run this website, and they handle your information only to provide their service to us:

• Cloudflare hosts this website, protects it from attacks and runs the Turnstile bot check.
• Resend delivers your questionnaire answers to our email inbox.
• Google Workspace provides our business email, where your answers are received.

We never sell your personal information, and we don’t share it with anyone for their own advertising or marketing.

How long we keep it

This website does not store your questionnaire answers. They are emailed to us and then discarded by the website. We keep the email only as long as we need it to prepare your preview, reply to you and provide any services you buy from us. If you don’t become a client, we delete your request within 24 months. You can ask us to delete it sooner at any time.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the personal information we have about you by emailing [email protected]. We’ll respond as soon as we can, and we won’t treat you differently for making a request. You can also reply “STOP” to any text message from us to stop receiving texts.

Cookies and similar technologies

This website does not use cookies for analytics, advertising or tracking, and it does not store anything in your browser’s local storage. Cloudflare may use strictly necessary security cookies to protect the site from bots and attacks. The Turnstile check on the questionnaire may use similar strictly necessary technology to confirm you’re a person. Because we only use strictly necessary technology, we don’t show a cookie banner.

Do Not Track

Some browsers can send a “Do Not Track” signal. We don’t track visitors across other websites, and we don’t allow third parties to do so on this website, so the signal doesn’t change how this site works.

Links to other websites

Our portfolio and photo credits link to other websites. Their own privacy policies apply when you visit them.

Children

This website is meant for business owners and isn’t directed to children under 13. We don’t knowingly collect information from children.

California residents

This policy is designed to meet the California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA). We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law, and we don’t disclose personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. You can make the requests described above under “Your choices and rights” by emailing us.

Security

This website uses HTTPS encryption, strict security settings and spam protection, and it doesn’t keep a database of submissions. No method of sending or storing information is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.

Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, we’ll post the new version here and change the “Last updated” date at the top.
